Printing Instructions for the 2017 Volt Planner

By default, the 2017 Volt Planner is easy to print at home on standard, letter size paper. The following tips are for more complex printing tasks.

Duplex printing

To print the planner on half-size sheets of paper. You can print multiple pages to a sheet. To keep the order of pages, print the first page separately. Print the rest of the pages from 2 on.

If you use Adobe:

Open the PDF with Adobe

Click on File >>Print

Select the following settings

Booklet printing

Booklet printing is a form of duplex printing that is useful if you want to print the full PDF so that the pages are in order if folded down the middle. For instance, page 1 is printed next to page 69, page 2 is printed next to page 68, and so on…

Please note that these instructions for booklet printing are for double-sided printing. If you don’t have a duplex printer, you may need to take additional steps. We recommend printing a small selection first to test your printer settings.

If you use Adobe:

Open the PDF in Adobe

Click on File >>Print

Under Paper Sizing & Handling, click Booklet

Under Booklet subset, choose Both Sides from the drop-down menu

Verify the following settings are selected:

You should have a stack of paper in front of you. Fold or cut this stack down the middle, and your pages should be in the correct order

If you use Preview:

Open the PDF in Preview

Click on File >>Print

Under Preview, select Layout from the drop-down menu

Under Two-sided, choose Booklet from the drop-down menu

Verify the following settings are selected:

You should have a stack of paper in front of you. Fold or cut this stack down the middle, and your pages should be in the correct order
